SCIS PE provides high quality specialist sports provision in London primary schools through:
PPA cover for PE lessons for Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Extended schools provision, including healthy morning breakfast clubs and after school sports clubs
Development of links between schools and community sports clubs.
With a national drive towards Healthy Schools, a recognised need to improve young people’s lifestyle choices, and the forthcoming London 2012 Olympic Games, now is the ideal time to offer pupils the highest level of PE and sports provision.
SCIS PE can support your school in curriculum PE and extended schools settings. Our skilled, local coaches are trained across multiple sports disciplines, CRB checked, and many have been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted inspectors.
“We have been extremely impressed with the quality of coaches, lesson organisation and behaviour management shown by all the coaches.
We have noticed an improvement in the behaviour of the children and an increase in team cooperation”
Penny Spence, Head teacher, Islington school
SCIS PE provide safe, motivating and fully inclusive PE lessons that meet national curriculum requirements in gymnastics, dance, invasion, net and wall, striking and fielding games and athletics.
We go that extra mile to tailor a timetable of lessons and clubs that suits your school’s needs at competitive daily rates.
Our professional team provide termly feedback and assessment for pupils across the primary age range to help you raise standards of PE in your school.
We can support your school to provide for pupils outside of curriculum hours through our healthy start breakfast clubs and after school sports clubs.
Whether it be early morning wake up sessions, fun football or broader multi-sports classes, SCIS PE will inspire your pupils to get active and develop cooperation skills and positive behaviour along the way.
Developing School/Club Links
We run and are closely connected with sports clubs across the capital and are dedicated to creating pathways to enable the pupils we work with in schools to further develop their skills.
SCIS runs both Regents Park and The Heath football clubs, which offer sessions to over 300 children, many of whom attend the schools we work with.
